How do you turn a dark, awkward interior into a bright and comfortable home? This property was weighed down by a confusing layout, structural hurdles and rooms that felt gloomy and unwelcoming. The clients wanted a fresh start, with light, flow and a sense of modern comfort at the heart of the design.

We reconfigured the ground floor to create an open plan kitchen, dining and living space that still includes a separate utility and cloakroom. Large picture windows, sliding doors and a window seat invite daylight deep inside, while bespoke joinery ties the rooms together with storage and warmth. Clean lines mix with soft textures and natural tones to create a home that feels welcoming, practical and deeply personal.

The result is a house transformed: filled with light, layered with comfort, and ready for both everyday living and entertaining.
